What makes RN Dose fitness classes different from other yoga and fitness classes?

RN Dose yoga and fitness classes are not only lead by an experienced fitness instructor, but a professional nurse that understands anatomy and physiology, maximizing benefit and results. RN Dose yoga and fitness classes are uniquely and functionally designed to acquire and maintain physical, mental, and emotional ability at any age!

What if I’m not flexible? Is yoga for me?

ABSOLUTELY! This is WHY we practice yoga. Yoga is simply moving the body the way it is intended to be moved, breathing, and connecting our minds to that movement and breath. We’re finding space within that gets forgotten. Yoga keeps the body supple and capable of movement and strength we would otherwise lose over time. Here…it’s just you and your mat… and what your body and mind needs for that day. If you find yourself challenged…simply sink to Child’s Pose (I will teach you that ?). No ego. No expectations. No judgement. YOGA… IS… FOR… EVERYONE.

Which yoga class should I attend?

If this will be the 1st time you’ve stepped on a yoga mat, you would initially benefit from All Levels Yoga on Saturday. However, your practice is to be taken at your own pace; therefore, all classes can be tailored to all experience levels. There is a place for everyone in each class.

What do I wear to yoga and/or kickboxing class?

The room will be warm, so dress in layers. You may close to shed layers as your body warms up. Men usually wear a t-shirt/tank and shorts, or no shirt at all. Women typically wear a sports bra, t-shirt/tank and shorts or capris/yoga pants.

What do I need to bring to yoga class?

You will need to bring a “yoga mat”, a “yoga towel” to cover the mat (especially for those that
sweat), and a water bottle. You will also need to bring blocks (2 minimum), a yoga strap (strongly
recommended for beginners), and hand towel. HINT: Practicing yoga on the wrong mat is like attempting to
run in flip flops. The investment is well worth it.

What do I need to bring to kickboxing class?

No street shoes in class, so you need to bring additional pair to place on after entering studio. Also bring a full water bottle (water not supplied) and a hand towel, as you will SWEAT!
